What you need
- LMU expects a 3.00 cumulative college GPA and a 3.00 GPA in the most recent college work. School of Film and Television applicants may need stronger records than the 3.00 minimum. Source
- There is no minimum number of units to apply. Applicants with fewer than 30 transferable semester units must also send official high school transcripts. Source
- Business applicants must complete calculus or business calculus covering differential and integral calculus with a B or better before transferring. Science majors also have prerequisite courses to finish before transfer. Source
- Auditions or portfolios are required for Animation, Film and Television Production, Theatre Arts, Dance, Music and the BFA in Art and Design. Source

ADT pathway
LMU's transfer pages and 2025-2026 Transfer Guide do not mention the AICCU ADT Commitment. The one ADT-based route found is the LMU-WLAC Scholars Program, which guarantees admission to West Los Angeles College students in Business or Psychology who complete the matching transfer degree and program requirements.
