Impaction at Cal State Fullerton

The CSU 2027-2028 Impacted Programs Matrix (July 2026) lists Fullerton as impacted for first-time freshmen and upper-division transfers, with all undergraduate programs, pre-programs and undeclared programs impacted. For Fall 2027 this means meeting the CSU minimum requirements does not by itself secure admission.

Nursing (Upper-Division Transfer BSN pathway)	For Fall 2027, applicants need at least a 3.25 GPA in their most recent 60 semester units by the end of Fall 2026, a B or higher in each of four science prerequisites and a C or higher in four non-science prerequisites. TEAS and letters of recommendation are not accepted, and all prerequisites must be finished by the end of Fall 2026.
Nursing (Upper-Division Transfer BSN pathway), selection	Casper is required for all Fall 2027 applicants. Admits are spread by GPA band with a target of about 40% at 3.85-4.00, 25% at 3.65-3.84, 25% at 3.45-3.64 and 10% at 3.25-3.44.

For fall 2027, applicants can start the Cal State Apply application on August 1, 2026, and can submit it starting October 1, 2026. The priority filing deadline is November 30, 2026. CSU says many campuses and majors still accept applications after the priority period.
