What you need
- Transfers apply through Biola's own application. The 2026-27 catalog says undergraduate applications have no fee. Source
- For Fall 2027 and Spring 2027, Biola asks transfer applicants to have at least a 2.5 cumulative college GPA. Nursing has a separate requirement. Source
- The transfer page asks for 15 or more post-high school semester credits (22.5 quarter credits). Students with fewer apply as freshman-transfer applicants. Source
- Biola accepts up to 70 transfer credits from accredited community colleges, and courses graded D+ or lower may not transfer (2026-27 catalog). Source
- Biola accepts completed IGETC, CSU Breadth and Cal-GETC certification toward its core curriculum. The Biola Experience seminar and foreign language are not covered, and CSU Breadth does not satisfy ENGL 313. Source
- Most transfer students must complete 30 credits of Bible and theology. Students with 45 or more transferable credits must take at least 9 Bible credits at Biola, 3 of them upper-division (2026-27 catalog). Source
Scholarships and aid
- Biola transfer merit scholarships are based on cumulative college GPA, with awards of up to $23,500 per year for Fall 2027 and Spring 2027 applicants. Source
