UC admitted 77.1% of California community college applicants for fall 2025, but campus rates run from about a quarter at Berkeley and UCLA to nearly four in five at Riverside.

Fall 2026 rates are UC’s mid-cycle snapshot for all transfer applicants. Fall 2025 rates are final counts for community college applicants, except where marked. GPA is the middle half of admits where the campus publishes it.

How to read these

A campus rate hides wide gaps by major. UCLA took 5% of Computer Science applicants and 66% in Anthropology for fall 2025.
Major preparation weighs as much as GPA at the selective campuses, so a 3.9 without prep can lose to a 3.7 with it.
TAG campuses guarantee admission if you meet the conditions, which changes the picture more than any rate.
