The Transfer Academic Update
Every transfer applicant has to complete the Transfer Academic Update, even with nothing to change. For fall 2027 entry the priority deadline is January 31, 2027.

Overview
What you report
- Your fall 2026 grades.
- Courses in progress and planned through summer 2027.
- Any change since you applied: an added or dropped course, a grade below C, or a new college.
Why it matters
Campuses review your file using what the update says. UC says it can’t guarantee a campus will go back and review an update that arrives after the priority deadline, and every TAG contract requires the update by January 31. Log back in to correct it if anything changes later.
The update covers your academic record. It isn’t a place to add activities or rewrite essays.
