UC Davis sets its own 2.80 minimum transferable GPA, above the UC minimum of 2.40. Selective majors require higher overall, series and group GPAs plus major preparation finished by the end of spring before fall entry. Source
UC Davis has no exploratory or undeclared option for transfers. Applicants may list an alternate major in a different field, which may be considered if they are not admitted to their first choice. Source
For fall 2027 TAG, applicants need a 3.20 GPA (3.50 for the College of Engineering) by the end of summer 2026. Business, computer science and data science are not open to TAG. Source
Starting fall 2027, animal biology, animal science, and wildlife, fish and conservation biology become selective majors for transfers in the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences. Source
